Nicholas ran after Quinn when he saw her get into the car to leave. She didn’t stop for him, though. He watched as the car drove
off into the distance, and he tripped and fell. The ring on his hand fell off and rolled into one of the bushes by the roadside.
He immediately scrambled to his feet to search through them. The branches and thorns left scratches on his hands, but he didn’t
