“Snow, I’m divorcing you right now! You’re a wicked woman with no morals and values! You’re not worthy of becoming part of the Thompson family!”
Snow was stunned, but it only lasted for a second before she wiped her tears away with a trembling hand and forced a smile. “What on earth are you saying, honey? I’ve been married to you for three years, and I never held you against all the times you cheated on me with other women. I always showed you respect in front of other people. How could you cut ties with me with just a
few words? I won’t allow it!”
Snow practically hissed the last few words out.
With an air of indifference, William looked away and turned to Adam.
“I’m going to need some men from you.”
Adam nodded. He raised his hand, and a few security guards came in to drag Snow out by the elbows.
Snow’s legs left behind two trails on the floor, but she still continued struggling as she shouted, “You can’t do this! William, you won’t be able to get rid of me like this! And Adam, do you think Ginnie would forgive you after you take me down?! You’re the
most hypocritical one out of us all!
“What’s the point of you making a show of loving her now?! She’s already dead! Hahahaha! And she even died in an accident after being so disappointed in you that she left you!
“You hypocritical piece of trash! You killed the only person who ever loved you! You’ll be tormented by your guilty conscience for the rest of your life, and you will end up with a fate just as horrible as mine!”
William shut his eyes in irritation. After Snow’s voice finally faded away, he regained his composure and apologized to Adam.
“Mr. Grant, allow me to go back first to deal with some family matters.”
“Wait. Did I say you can leave?”
With a stony face, Adam rolled up his sleeves and went to William as he said, “All those who betrayed Ginnie must be punished.”
He punched William right in the face.
William did not manage to evade the blow in time and stumbled back a few times before falling on the floor. Before he could react,
Adam straddled him and started punching him in a frenzy.
Adam was in a half–crazed state. In fact, he had even started to stubbornly believe that if William had not betrayed Ginnie three
years ago, Ginnie would not have married Adam and gotten herself killed because of him.
At that thought, he went even more berserk. Even after William lost his strength to fight back, he still refused to stop.
William only survived because police officers had rushed there and separated the two.

Chapter 14
Three days later, Adam was released after paying a hefty medical compensation.
But he did not remain idle.
He started by uploading the video of Snow pushing Ginnie online. Then, he revealed that Snow had plagiarized Ginnie’s work, cyberbullied her, cheated on William, and done all sorts of other horrible things.
The Thompson family cast Snow out, and her reputation was ruined. She ended up becoming a target of scorn.
Of course, the people online were observant creatures. Soon, they managed to figure out that Adam had betrayed Ginnie for Snow
as well.
They started mocking him by saying that he was the real culprit behind his wife and baby’s deaths.
Adam did nothing to defend himself. He even felt a sick, masochistic pleasure from it.
It was just as he said; all those who hurt Ginnie must be punished. Naturally, he was no exception.
Adam fell into severe depression. He refused to eat or drink, and he just hugged Ginnie’s portrait while he mumbled, “Ginnie, won’t you come back? If you refuse to, I’ll go and keep you company.”
In the past, he would never have believed that he would become so depressed for a woman.
But he just could not control himself. Finally, he understood: he loved Ginnie far more than he had imagined.
In a country named Salisia was the Sullivan family’s manor.
Ginnie held her phone and learned about everything that transpired after she left the country.
She had thought that Adam might feel regret for her supposed death, but the results were far beyond what she had imagined.
Aside from glee, she also felt an indescribable sense of sorrow.
If her grandfather had not managed to find her, she might have really died in the country.
Besides, she had been emotionally and physically hurt while she was back there. So, what was the point of Adam doing these things after the fact?
Right then, she heard footsteps behind her.
Gary Sullivan, Ginnie’s grandfather, walked into the living room and smiled at the granddaughter he had gone through so much
pain to reunite with.
“What’re you looking at, Ginnie? Why aren’t you resting, even though it’s already so late?”
