Enraged, William grabbed Adam’s collar. “Adam, are you picking a fight?!”
But before he threw a punch, he paused.
Because Adam had played a recording right in front of everyone.
“When are you going to divorce Ginnie and marry me? I know that you’ve always liked me, and I’m willing to leave William for
you.
“Adam, I don’t want to go back to that cold house. Can’t you stay with me just for tonight?
e can sleep in the same bed.”
Since he loved Snow but could not be with her, whenever Adam met her, he would record whatever she said so that he could
replay it repeatedly to savor it.
He had not expected these recordings to end up becoming the best tools to reveal Snow’s true colors.
Snow’s eyes flew wide. She lunged forward and grabbed the recorder from Adam’s hands before grinding it to pieces under her
foot.
“Those are fake, honey. Adam got someone to stitch my words together to lie to you. Trust me, I would never betray you.”
But William was no fool, much less tolerate being cheated on for so long.
He slapped Snow hard in the face. “You witch! How dare you betray me?!”
Snow fell on the floor. Her white dress was stained with dirt, and her carefully put together style turned into a dishevelled mess.
Trembling, she looked up, only to find all the guests staring at her in disdain.
Even Howard was sighing and shaking his head at her in disappointment.
At that moment, Adam’s voice rose again; it sounded like a demon’s.
“That’s not all that Snow has done. I’m telling her to apologize to my wife because she had set Ginnie up multiple times. Not only
did she plagiarize her work, she also indirectly caused Ginnie and Zyanya’s deaths!”
With a clap of his hand, Leo pushed a large monitor into the mourning hall.
Displayed on it was the recording of the reporters fighting over each other to reveal all that Snow did.
Even as he talked about all the horrible things Snow had done to Ginnie in the past, Adam still boiled in such great hatred that he
gnashed his teeth together.
But he was also one of those who deserved all the worst things in the world happening to him,
As the recording played, the panic on Snow’s face only grew.

Chapter 13
Some of the guests were seething. They grabbed a handful of dirt from the ground and threw it at Snow.
“How could you be so cruel to your own best friend?! You’re no human. You’re a monster!”
“What the hell?! You seriously can have any piece of trash call themselves an artist now! To think that I thought your designs were good last time and got my friends to support you, but you’re just a disgusting, chronic thief! Die!”
“You stole your current husband from Ginnie, didn’t you?! And you’re also vying for her current husband?! Would it kill you to stop stealing someone else’s husband?!”
Snow trembled but found herself unable to retort any of the insults. At that moment, all of her attention was on William.
Adam would never want her again, so she had to keep William in a tight grip. He was her only chance to make a comeback!
She crawled over to William, but before she could even touch his shirt, Howard smacked her hand with his cane.
With great sorrow, he pointed at Snow with the cane. “Ginnie treated you like a sister. Even though you aren’t talented in drawing, she still begged me repeatedly to give you a chance, and this is how you repay her?
“I thought I lived a righteous life, but to think that you would appear as a stain in my life during my twilight years! Snow, from this moment on, never call yourself my student again. Our relationship as teacher and student ends here!”
In her fear, Snow’s jaw fell slack. Her tears rolled down her cheeks.
“Mr. Howard, I’m sorry. Please don’t do this to me! Ginnie is already dead, and I’m your only student right now!”
She grabbed Howard’s pant leg and pleaded at him, “Besides, I’m your granddaughter–in–law. Mr. Howard, you can’t just give up on me like this, or William will also become the butt of everyone’s jokes because of me!”
“I’m going to be the butt of everyone’s jokes because of you? Who told you that?”
William stepped forward, and his cold voice came from above Snow.
