When Adam returned home, all life seemed to drain out of him. For a few days straight, he refused to even set foot out of the house and just kept apologizing to the urn while he hugged it.
One day, he suddenly ordered Leo to apprehend all the reporters who had surrounded her on the day of her accident.
Even though he had thrown mud at Ginnie to protect Snow during the cyberbullying, he had also restricted all access to Ginnie’s information immediately to prevent anyone from doxing her.
Hence, these reporters could not have figured out where Ginnie lived so soon. Someone must have been pulling the strings behind the scenes, and he was going to find that person!
The reporters were locked up in a room under Adam’s orders. In their fear, they spilled the beans within a few hours.
“Mr. Grant, Snow Warma was the one who told us to do this! We never thought that it would lead to Miss Sullivan’s death!”
“Snow Warma gave us each one million dollars and told us to make Miss Sullivan’s life hell. We have records of this!”
“Snow Warma also scripted the entire cyberbullying incident. She told us to add fuel to the fire to drag Miss Sullivan into this mess so that she could force you to choose between her and Miss Sullivan.”
“That’s right. Mr. Grant, Snow Warma said that Miss Sullivan pulled her into the lake during Mr. Howard’s birthday party, but I accidentally left my camera in the area on that day. The footage shows Snow Warma striking Miss Sullivan first before dragging
her into the lake!”
As Adam listened to the reporters accuse Snow of her wrongdoings, his heart hurt like needles were repeatedly stabbing him.
So, Snow had actually hurt Ginnie so many times behind his back.
And what did he do?
Not only did he not believe in Ginnie, he had even sided with Snow to attack Ginnie.
He had let down Ginnie’s love for him and was no longer fit to call himself a human!
“Mr. Grant, we’ve told you everything! Please spare us!”
“Quiet!”
Adam gave off an intimidating aura and ordered Leo coldly, “Make these people hand over the money Snow gave them, then get
their journalism licenses cancelled. I want them to be completely barred from the industry!”
As the reporters continued begging for mercy amid their tears, Adam left with clenched fists.
If Snow had not repeatedly hurt Ginnie, how could she have died full of regrets from the accident?
He was not going to forgive Snow so easily, not when she was the culprit behind this whole thing!

Chapter 12
One week later, Adam held a grand funeral in the city.
Their baby’s coffin was also placed in the mourning hall.
Adam named their unborn baby Zyanya Grant to show that he would always love Ginnie.
The upper–class’society of Shaunterpolis finally learned that the famous Adam Grant was actually married and even had a child,
but both had passed away.
As Ginnie’s teacher and something of a grandparent, Howard brought his grandson and granddaughter–in–law along to Ginnie’s
funeral.
Snow had wanted this. She intended to meet Adam in private after the funeral.
She had already come up with a speech. She was going to insist that she was the girl in the past. Besides, Adam had loved her for years, so she was sure that she could make him have a change of heart.
But right when Snow showed up, Adam had her dragged out from among the guests.
He had her brought to Ginnie’s coffin and kicked her behind the knees to force her to the floor.
“Ah!” Snow yelped in pain. But in the next second, Adam grabbed her chin.

“Show, you’re going to apologize to my wife for all the injustice you’ve committed upon her, and you’re going to do it in front of all these people!”
Snow was so terrified that she trembled. Her tears rolled down her cheeks.
At that moment, someone else grabbed Adam’s wrist.
William had decided to protect Snow, and he was scowling in displeasure.
“Adam, we’re all saddened by Ginnie’s death, but don’t go acting like a lunatic to my wife.”
Adam slowly got to his feet and sneered mockingly as he looked at William.
“I never pegged you to be the protective sort, William. But do you know that your darling wife once asked me to stay the night
with her?”
Everyone fell silent at that, and all color drained from Snow’s face.
