Chapter 26
Ginnie was taken aback by the sight and only recovered from her shock after a long while.
Had Adam lost his mind? She never thought that things would progress this way.
In the end, she sighed and returned to the manor with Gray and Sirius.
After Adam fled, he would have to live a hard, nomadic life. If it meant that he would leave her side forever, that still worked out.
One month passed, and it was time for Ginnie to enroll in Kenormel Academy of Arts.
Once she stepped out of the manor, she saw Sirius standing outside in a suit, ready to send her to the university. She gave a
resigned smile. “Sirius, you really don’t need to send me to the university. I can just ask Mr. Oliver to do it.”
Even though Kenormel Academy of Arts was not far from the manor, she heard that Sirius had been attending quite a lot of cases
in the hospital as of late and was often so busy that he did not even have time to breathe. She really wanted him to take some time
to rest
Despite the dark eyebags, Sirius shook his head. “No. It’s no trouble at all. The university is just along the way. Let’s go.”
In the end, Ginnie did not manage to convince Sirius otherwise, so she got into his car and went to the university of her dreams.
Kenormel Academy of Arts had perfected all of its procedures, so Ginnie soon completed her enrollment and sat in the lecture hall
to wait for her first lecture.
Apparently, this lecture was going to be conducted by a mysterious, distinguished lecturer, so she looked forward to it.
Even though she had been prepared, when she saw the lecturer, Ginnie was still dumbfounded.
No one told her that the professor was going to be Orion (Sirius), whom she met this morning!
After the lecture, Ginnie ran after Sirius under the guise of a consultation with the professor. “Why didn’t you tell me that you
were the distinguished lecturer?”
Sirius flashed her an easy smile. “I did say that the

the university was along the way. You were the one who didn’t believe me.”
Sirius pretended to think about it. “Hmm… You’re right. I did seem quite busy there. But I think I was busy training my juniors so that I could take leave to work part–time here.”
Ginnie scoffed at that and pretended to want to hit him.
They chased after each other. During that time, Ginnie accidentally kicked over the trash can in the corridor.
She quickly bent down to pick it up, but right then, a janitor rushed over and started cleaning up the trash.
He wore a cap and mask that covered his face fully. His head was lowered. Even so, his movements were controlled and decisive.

He also seemed to be worried that Ginnie would dirty her hands and refused to let her get near the trash.
“I’m sorry, Sir. We didn’t notice the trash can just now. Let me help you clean it up.”
But the janitor only bowed his head even further and kept rejecting Ginnie’s offer by waving his hands. Even though he said
nothing, his stance was firm; he would not let her pick up the trash.
Ginnie found it increasingly strange. The janitor seemed to know her, but she could not figure out who he was, even after thinking hard about it.
“Let’s go, Ginnie.” Sirius called out to her and brought her mind back from her complicated thoughts.
The next day, Ginnie brought breakfast to the janitor as thanks.
The lanit
Janitor bowed and took the breakfast in such an earnest fashion that he even trembled.
She asked, “Do we know each other, Sir?”
The janitor was stunned for a moment. He did not know how he should answer the question.
Ginnie drew closer to him, wanting to see what the mask and cap hid.
As if facing a great enemy, the janitor stepped back and ran away with the breakfast in his hands.
By then, Ginnie was sure that this man knew her.
But who on earth was he?
“Ginnie!”
Right then, one of her course mates walked over and patted her shoulder before pointing to a drawing room.
“Professor Orion said that he has business with you and asked you to meet him in the drawing room.
Ginnie nodded as thanks and went to the drawing room.
But right after she went in, the door slammed shut with a loud bang
