Chapter 24
Adam opened it to see a court document. Ginnie was suing for divorce!
His eyes flew wide with shock, and he immediately contacted Leo to buy the earliest plane ticket to Salisia.
“Mr. Grant, you’ve only just finished working nonstop at the company and clearing your father’s debts for two months. It’s best if you give yourself some time to rest…”
Adam roared at him, “Stop yapping and do it!”
After stuffing some clothes into his luggage bag, Adam immediately left his house.
But before he could even walk further away, a woman suddenly ran over and threw her arms around his waist.
“Adam, I finally found you! I’m really sorry now! Please don’t abandon me!”
Snow held onto Adam’s waist tightly as she cried and begged. In less than a year, she had gone through the greatest setback in
her life, and all she could do at that moment was beg Adam to give her another chance.
Adam was already frustrated because of the court documents. When he realized that Snow was the one hugging him, his entire
being exploded in rage.
He hissed, “Let go.”
Snow only held onto him tighter. “No. I won’t. Adam, if you won’t forgive me, then I will keep on bothering you–Ah!”
Before she finished speaking, Adam twisted her wrist off of him, and her arm was bent at a bizarre angle.
It hurt so much that Snow nearly lost her voice. She could only give Adam a pleading look as she shook her head repeatedly and
feebly.
However, her tears were a plague to Adam. It always made him remember how he fell for her trap in the first place and how she
manipulated him to hurt Ginnie.
When he remembered that, Adam snapped and shoved Snow to the stone stairs by the side.
Blood instantly poured out of Snow’s forehead, and she could not find the strength to move.
Adam did not seem to have realized what he did. Only one thought remained in his mind.
He had to find Ginnie. He would allow her to divorce him!
Back at the Sullivan family’s manor, Ginnie had already woken up and changed into the haute–couture gown Gray had prepared
for her.
It was her birthday. After she went downstairs, she found Gray and Sirius waiting for her in the living room. Each of them had a
gift box in hand.

When Gray saw her, he immediately put on a proud and gratified smile as he praised her. “You truly are my granddaughter, alright. Whenever you decide to dress up, you’re even better looking than celebrities! Come, take a look at the gift I prepared for you. I’m sure you’ll like it!”
Ginnie smiled and elegantly took the box. “Thank you, Grandpa!”
Within the box was a document, and its contents made Ginnie instantly tear up due to excitement.
It was the verdict stating that she had successfully annulled her marriage with Adam!
Truly, Gray knew her best. He had managed to get rid of the problem that had been a constant bother!
Ginnie hugged Gray in excitement as she was moved to tears of joy.
“Thank you, Grandpa! This is the best gift I’ve ever received.”
Gray patted her back gently as he comforted her, “Don’t cry, Ginnie. It’s the least I can do. Besides, you haven’t even seen what Sirius prepared for you, so how could you say that my gift is the best?”
Sirius said in an air of humility, “Your present has touched Ginnie’s heart. How could I compare to you? I just hope that she won’t scoff at my gift.”
Ginnie rubbed her teary eyes and took Sirius’s present.
She was curious as to what Sirius had prepared for her.
