Right after Ginnie left the cafe, she saw Sirius running toward her with the sun shining behind his back. Surprised, she asked, “Why are you here? I thought you had a lot of work to do at the art exhibition?”
Ginnie seemed to be acting as usual, and the sight settled the nervousness in Sirius’s heart. He extended his hand to Ginnie.
“I can delegate the art exhibition operations to my assistant, but it’s different for you.‘
Sirius’s breathing had yet to calm down, and sweat also beaded on his nose. Seeing this, Ginnie felt warmth in her heart, and she
held his hand.
Both of them returned to the art exhibition. On the way, Ginnie suddenly asked Sirius, “You managed to identify who Adam was
when we were at the art exhibition. How did you do it? Did you look into him?”
Sirius smiled and nodded readily. “I did. A long time ago, in fact. I was also telling the truth when I said that I wanted to teach him
a lesson ”
Ginnie stopped walking for a second, and she felt touched.
Was Sirius… treating her differently from other women?
After they returned to the art exhibition, they worked until the sun set, and the crowd at the exhibition finally thinned out.
Just as Ginnie and Sirius wanted to close the art exhibition for the day and return home, Sirius’s assistant hurried over with his
tab in hand.
“Miss Sullivan, a man said that he wants to buy all of your pieces just now, and he’s willing to pay 5.2 million for each piece!”
Ginnie and Sirius shared a look.
Even though she had been famous for a time when she was younger, that was before her arm was injured. Hence, she never managed to ride on her fame. She had rapidly faded into obscurity because she was unable to produce new pieces.
Most of the people who attended the art exhibition were there for Orion.
Neither of them expected that someone would be willing to spend so much money on her art pieces right before they closed the
art exhibition.
Sirius’s assistant was already ready to get to work. All he needed was a nod from Ginnie before he went off immediately to pack
up her pieces.
But Ginnle frowned and said firmly, “I’m not selling them.”
Sirius’s assistant went slack–jawed in shock, but before he said anything, Sirius shook his head at him. “Do as she says.”
Finding it a pity, the assistant resigned himself to the situation and left. He just could not figure out why someone would give up on such great wealth, but after some thinking, he remembered that Ginnie was allegedly Gray Sullivan’s granddaughter.

If that was true, then everything made sense. Ginnie was not short of money. To Sullivan Corporation, even 520 million was
nothing
Ginnie had thought that she had made things clear with Adam in the cafe. She also thought that Adam would stop bothering her after she rejected selling him her pieces in the art exhibition.
But Adam was far more determined than she thought he would be.
He went to the Sullivan family and started standing outside their manor every day to beg to see Ginnie.
Be it rain or shine, no matter how Gray and Sirius sent waves of people to chase him away, Adam always waited at the gate from
dawn till dusk.
One day, Ginnie went out and ran into Adam while he held a huge box in his hands.
He extended his hands as he stood before Ginnie’s car, and Oliver had to slam his foot down on the brakes to stop the car. Even so, the car was still only less than an inch away from Adam.
“Who the hell are you?! If you have a death wish, then do it away from the Sullivan family’s gate!”
Ginnie sighed. “Mr. Oliver, let me out.”
She wanted to see Adam’s latest antic.
It had been half a month since they last met. At that moment, Adam looked even more sickly than before. He had dark bruises
‘under his eyes, and he looked much thinner.
But after he saw Ginnie, he looked like he had been given life. Even his eyes shone.
He handed the box to her.
“Ginnie, I brought you something this time. Take a look. I’m sure that once you see it, you’ll reconsider being with me!”
