Gray gave Ginnie a doting look.
“Why would I lie to you? I was comrades with Sirius’s grandfather and naturally wanted our families to become even closer with
each other. But since both of you are already grown up and have your own thoughts and ambitions, you don’t have to feel tied
down by the engagement.
Ginnie bowed her head and said nothing for the time being.
She did not know what sort of feelings she had for Sirius.
After dinner, Ginnie excused herself to her room.

She cast aside all the chaotic thoughts in her head and instead got out the easel and brushes she had prepared from the closet.
Even though her arm was almost fully healed, she still had no courage to try drawing again.
Besides, it had been three years since she last drew. She did not know whether she could return to her prime.
Ginnie formed the outline of what she wanted to draw in her head and started skillfully mixing the colors to get the shades she
wanted.
But when she lifted the brush, she seemed to be cursed with a petrification spell
Sweat flowed down her forehead. She just did not know where to start.
Suddenly, she heard someone knocking on the door, and in came Sirius’s voice.
“Ginnie, you didn’t eat much just now, so I warmed up a glass of milk for you. May I come in?”
“Yeah… sure,” Ginnie agreed hurriedly and wanted to put away the easel, but it was already too late.
When Sirius saw the art tools in the room, he raised an eyebrow in amusement.
“Why didn’t you start drawing? Did I come at the wrong time?”
Ginnie sighed and gave a self–deprecating smile. “Oh, forget it. I’ll tell you. It’s not as if I’m scared of you laughing at me,
anyway.
“I started learning how to draw at a young age, and I wanted to have an art career. But it’s been three years since I last drew, and I
don’t even dare to draw even a simple outline anymore.”
Sirius’s expression turned serious. “What were you trying to draw?”
“…Sunflowers,”
Sunflowers were her favorite flower. They symbolized hope and a determination to always live positively.

Sirius nodded. He grabbed Ginni
hand from behind her and skillfully guided her to outline a sunflower on the canvas.
Then, he let go and let her have the freedom to face the canvas.
“Look, it’s just an outline. There’s no need to be scared about it. Just continue drawing.”
When Sirius guided her to draw the outline, Ginnie found herself regaining her old touch.
She felt incredibly excited, and her hands started moving wherever she wanted them to. Soon, she drew a sunflower that stood
tall and proud.
By then, Ginnie was so emotional that she started weeping and hugged Sirius tightly.
“I did it, Sirius! Thank you!”
The moment Ginnie hugged Sirius, his heart skipped a beat.

skilled at drawing the outline just now. You seem like a trained artist.”
Sirius smiled and said, “Even though I became a doctor because of my family’s wishes, drawing is one of the hobbies that I managed to keep up. If you don’t mind, we can talk about art more often in the future.”
Girinie agreed without hesitation.
After that, without the excuse of treating Ginnie’s arm, Sirius started frequently meeting Ginnie on the excuse of talking about
art with her.
With Sirius’s encouragement, Ginnie gradually regained her touch, and she started sharing her art on social media.
As of late, an online friend by the name of “A” had repeatedly DM–ing her to ask her for a commission.
One day, Ginnie felt annoyed and replied, [Sorry, I only share my art. I don’t accept commissions.]
A soon replied, [I didn’t want to bother you, but your art style is really similar to my wife’s. She passed away half a year ago from
an accident, and I’d like you to draw a family portrait of us together so that I can treat it as a keepsake my deceased wife left for
- me. Of course, the price isn’t a problem.]
Ginnie frowned slightly and felt a little moved by A’s story. She also started talking to him in a friendlier manner.
[How many people would you like in the family portrait?]
[Just me, my wife, and our baby. But our baby never had the chance to be born. My wife had a miscarriage when she was four months pregnant.]
Ginnie froze. She could not help but remember the baby she had aborted when she was four months pregnant.
Right then, A sent another message.
[My wife is a gentle person and is always kind to everyone around her. She also has a nice name: Ginnie Sullivan.]
