The next day, everyone reported their topics to the lecturer
Sure enough, Jane’s group chose the same topic as us.
The lecturer said, “Even if the topic is similar, you can elaborate your points differently and arrive at a different conclusion too.”
After our topic submission, our group stayed back in class to continue discussing our research path.
Taylor said, “Now that there’s another group for comparison, we have to be creative to get a high score.”
We ended up discussing it for an hour.
Right before we left, one of our group members loudly asked, “Hey, who left their phone here?”
I recognized it as Jane’s spare phone.
At the same time, Jane rushed in from outside. “Has anyone seen my phone?”
That group member picked it up. “Is this the one?”
Jane appeared relieved. “Yes! I’ve been looking for it for a very long time. Turns out it was here!”
I was mildly impressed by her acting skills, She could win an Oscar for this!
Soon, it was the day of our presentation.
