Seeing the length of what Murphy had written, the young man was ecstatic. “Thank you, sir! This is so beautifully written. My sister will definitely be moved when she reads it!”
Murphy smiled. “Thank you too. Talking with you gave me a sense of clarity I haven’t felt in a long time.”
The fog that had clouded his heart finally lifted. He was now ready to face his feelings.
He loved Gemma.

When Murphy returned home, he made two decisions.
The first decision was for Townsend Group to undergo a technological transformation. From that day on, 20% of the company’s
annual revenue would be allocated to research.
Half would go to the cryogenics research team to accelerate the development of safe thawing techniques, and the other half to
cancer research to aid in finding a cure and benefiting humanity.
At the same time, Murphy resigned as chairman of Townsend Group and appointed his younger brother, Nova Townsend, as
acting chairman. From then on, Nova would oversee all of the company’s affairs.
