“You’ve caused enough scandal to bring shame on this entire family! With the wedding so close, you want to break it off now? Do you have any idea how this will affect our reputation?”
William didn’t give him a chance to argue. “Get out of my sight, Victor. I will not break off your engagement with Yvonne. End of discussion.”
And so, Victor stormed out.

Naturally, he came straight to my villa.
At the time, I was finalizing my judgment of Graham’s sexual competence.
Exhausted, I wasn’t in the mood for another confrontation.
Victor pressed the doorbell with such force it echoed through the house.

When I finally opened the door, I was greeted by the sight of Victor’s expression–a chaotic mix of emotions that was nothing
short of priceless.
Graham had a possessive streak buried beneath his composed demeanor.
As I moved to get up, he pulled me back and left a trail of vivid marks along my neck.
Victor’s expression when the door opened was a mix of shock and disbelief. It took him a moment to find his voice.
“Mia, you two…”
I straightened my collar and tilted my head, meeting his gaze.
What was wrong with indulging in a little recklessness for once, after a lifetime of following the rules?
Victor’s anger boiled over. “You’re not even married yet! Don’t you have any shame?”
“That’s not quite fair, little brother.” Before I could respond, Graham’s lazy voice drifted from the bedroom. “Aren’t there videos of you sneaking around a hotel with that influencer? So, tell me–what exactly did we do wrong?”
Victor hadn’t expected Graham to still be in my room. His face turned various shades of red and white.
“At least I’m not like someone who gets engaged to one person today and then gets tangled up with someone else tomorrow.”
Graham’s tone was sharp. “When I choose someone, I stay loyal.”
Victor’s face drained of color, leaving him pale as a ghost.
“And another thing,” Graham continued, his voice even colder. “Mia is not someone you can address so casually. You should
respect her as your sister–in–law.”
Victor’s lips trembled as though he wanted to say something, but no words came out.
For a moment, I thought he might actually say it. How boring.
I turned back and shut the door.
“Mia.” Victor pushed against the door to stop it from closing. “Mia, Yvonne lied to me!”
“Mia, she manipulated us. That’s why we ended up like this!”
“Mia, listen to me. Just the other night, I had a dream, and in it, I was the one marrying you…”

“My dear fiancée,” Graham interrupted coolly, correcting Victor. “I have an important meeting coming up. Could you help me
review the materials?”
Then, with a smirk, he added, “Unless, little brother, you’d like to come in and join your older brother for a discussion?”
Victor fell silent.
I closed the door.
Victor must have taken quite the blow, as he fell ill shortly after returning home.
With no more drama from him to enjoy, I found myself preoccupied with wedding preparations alongside Graham. The process
kept us both thoroughly busy.
One day, as I was reviewing wedding plans, an unexpected visitor arrived.
The moment Yvonne saw me, she dropped to her knees, tears streaming down her face in a pitiful display.
“Miss Grant, please go see Victor!”
I stepped aside, narrowly avoiding her as she reached for the hem of my gown.
“Miss Grant, Victor is gravely ill. He won’t wake up, and in his dreams… he keeps calling your name.”
