And then there were those later texts from Eileen, boldly boasting in front of Cole’s legitimate girlfriend–those didn’t sound like
the words of someone who had been cheated on. They sounded more like the thoughts of a mistress who believed that only the
unloved were considered the other party. In reality, Eileen knew that she was the one who had been meddling.
The public opinion flipped in an instant. The same people who had viciously attacked Jaycie online now turned on Cole and
Eileen, blasting them with harsh criticism.
While self–proclaimed defenders of justice flooded Cole and Eileen’s Twitter with angry comments, Jaycie took legal action. She
filed a lawsuit against the users of the most liked comments slandering her, along with those who tried to stir the pot, including

When she logged back into her social media account, the comment section was much cleaner. Occasionally, a few trolls would appear, but they were swiftly banned. As soon as their ban expired, they would try to spew more nonsense, only to find a court. summons waiting for them in their emails. That was enough to silence them for good.
