they called Eileen.
By the time she arrived, Wayne was the only one left by Cole’s side. As soon as she showed up, he handed Cole over to her.
“I’ll leave him with you. Make sure he gets back safe.” He flashed her a knowing look and grabbed his car keys before walking out of the private room, leaving Cole, who was already in a drunken stupor, and a flushed Eileen behind.

Instead of taking him back to the Bensons‘ mansion, Eileen took him straight to her own place. Helping a man who was 6’2” into
a room wasn’t easy for her, but she pushed through. After all, she had certain plans for him.
After finally getting him into the room and onto the soft bed, she tenderly wiped him down and changed his clothes. Then, with a
shy look on her face, she lay next to him.
“Cole, we’re going to get married anyway. It’s just a little sooner than expected, but I’m okay with it.”
The man beside her, still unconscious or perhaps barely aware, pulled her close without saying a word, burying his face in her
shoulder. His hot breath made her shiver as it brushed her neck.
The room seemed to grow warmer as the atmosphere turned more intimate, but the next moment, his voice cut through
everything, calling out a name that made her heart stop.
“Jaycie…”
He didn’t do anything else. He just held her tightly, as if fearing that if he let go, she would vanish.
Eileen lay still in his arms. But in her eyes, there was a flash of something darker, something cold.
Jaycie. It was always Jaycie. If only she could disappear from this world.
