Chapter 6
“You’re not leaving! Pay for the damage!” someone shouted.
Taking advantage of the chaos, I quickly called the police.

When the officers arrived to investigate, Julian grabbed my hand, insisting that I was his wife and it was just a family dispute.
“No! I don’t know him at all! We have nothing to do with each other!” I screamed hysterically, finally catching the attention of
the police.
“Both of you, come with us.”
At the police station, I explained the entire situation in detail and provided the recording from yesterday as evidence.
After hearing my account, the police quickly understood what had happened.
Julian was given 15 days of administrativé detention, and the police helped me apply for a restraining order to prevent him from
approaching me again.
The Lancaster family was extremely unhappy with this outcome, as the administrative detention could affect Julian’s job.
Lilian arrived and tried to shout in my face but was stopped by the police.
“Officer, please listen to me! She’s really our daughter–in–law! This is just a family issue. Please be kind and release my son.‘
I looked at Lilian with a bright smile. “Mrs. Lancaster, you need proof when you speak. I have a video from the day we called off the engagement. Would you like to watch it again?
“Your son and I have no relationship whatsoever anymore. This was clearly intentional harm. How can you call it a family
dispute?”
