After delivering the meals, I hurried to pick up my daughter.
Just as I reached the door, Mrs Peterson stopped me. “Emily, is that Sarah related to you?”
I couldn’t help but admire her ability to change her tone so quickly. Just a moment ago, she was at odds with me, and now she was
acting like we were family.
I shot her a cold look. “Why do you care?”

As for the quality of your food, I have no idea what it’s like. And someone like you, with such low morals, I’d never work with you.”
Mrs Peterson’s face immediately darkened, and she raised her hand again. “Say that again, and I’ll tear your mouth apart!”

Mrs Peterson froze, reluctantly pulling her hand back and turning to leave.
Before she left, she looked at me and sneered, “Emily, you wait and see!”
