Chapter Seven Bring You Panties
Until Zackary was taken away, he still said he loved me.
Thinking about those seven years I had with him and the kicks he threw in my belly, I couldn’t tell how much of this love was real.
When knowing that Zackary was going to jail, Mallory, who I hadn’t seen for a long time,
came to my door.
As soon as she met me, she started begging me.
“Lillianna, you misunderstood Zackary. And it’s because of me. I apologize to you. I
shouldn’t wear your underwear.”
She said while slapping herself on her face.
She looked extraordinarily sincere.
“You and Zackary have been together for so many years. Don’t end your marriage because of trivial things.”
Hearing this, I became angry. “Trivial? Zackary broke my mom’s back and made me lose my child. You say it’s trivial, then how about I use a whip to break your back as well?”
Mallory shrank back.
She started to avoid the important. “Zackary is indeed wrong, but the crime he committed is not that unforgivable after all. You guys are young. You can still have another child. But if Zackary stays in jail for years, when he comes out, his life will be ruined.”
I said, “He ruined himself. What does it have to do with me?”
Mallory wanted to say something else.
In the end, I drove her away.
