He wanted my husband’s secretary 24

The video

(Olivia’s POV

“Mom! Please help us!Oliver cried out again when he saw me at the window

I studied them coldly, unmoved by Derek’s battered appearance. This man who had lied to me for years, who had kept his ex- girlfriend close while pretending to love me, was no longer my concern.

My eyes shifted to Oliver. Despite everything, he was still my biological son. I quickly scanned him for injuries, but he appeared physically unharmed just tired and frightened

Olivia,Derek called up, his voice hoarse. Please, just let us in. We have nowhere else to go.”

I closed the curtains without responding and reached for my phone. After not having to spend money on a husband and son who didn’t appreciate me, I had allocated $10,000 a month to hire two very strong guards for the property

I sent a quick text: Intruders at the front door. Please escort them off the property.”

Within minutes, I heard deep voices outside. Through the crack in the curtains, I watched as my new guards two massive wolves

in human form approached Derek and Oliver

Sir, you need to leave the premises, the larger one said firmly

This is my home!Derek protested, clutching Oliver tighter

No, sir. This property belongs to Dr. Winters, and you are trespassing, the guard replied, unimpressed

Mom!Oliver’s scream pierced through the morning air. Mom, please! Don’t let them take us away!”

His cries stabbed at my heart. Despite everything, he was still my child. I had carried him for nine months, endured a difficult birth, stayed up countless nights when he was sick

But I also remembered his cold rejection. Rachel is my real mom,” he had said

I stepped away from the window as the guards firmly but gently escorted Derek and Oliver off my property. I could still hear Oliver crying and shouting, and it hurt me more than I wanted to admit

You can’t do this to us! I’m scared! Mom, please!” His voice grew fainter as they moved away

I pressed my forehead against the cool glass. I can’t dwell in the past anymore,I whispered to myself

An hour later, I was dressed in my professional attire, heading to work. The pack’s medical center looked the same as always busy, sterile, efficient. As the lead therapist, I had my own office with my name etched on a silver plaque: Dr. Olivia Winters, Head

Healer

My assistant Sarah greeted me with a nervous smile. Good morning, Dr. Winters. Your schedule has been rearranged to

accommodate the appointments you missed.”

Thank you, Sarah,I replied, taking the tablet she offered. How bad is the backlog?”

It’smanageable, she said, not quite meeting my eyes. You have patients backtoback until 7 PM.”

I nodded and headed into my office. Something about Sarah’s behavior seemed off, but I had work to focus on

My morning passed in a blur of patients, their problems suddenly seeming so much simpler than my own. A young wolf with

anxiety about his first shift. A middleaged female with chronic pain from an old battle wound. An elderly couple struggling with

their weakening bond

By lunchtime, I’d noticed something strange. Patients were looking at me differently some with pity, others with thinly veiled

curiosity. When I passed colleagues in the hallway, conversations would stop abruptly

I was arranging files on my desk when there was a soft knock at my door

Come in,I called

Sarah entered, carrying a sandwich and a cup of coffee. I thought you might need this, she said, placing them on my desk. You

haven’t taken a break all morning.”

Thank you.I studied her face. Sarah, is something going on? Everyone’s acting strangely around me today.”

Sarah fidgeted with her hands, clearly uncomfortable. Dr. WintersOliviaI don’t know if I should be the one to tell you this.”

Tell me what?I felt a knot forming in my stomach

She hesitated, then pulled out her phone. There’s a video that’s been circulating this morning. It’sabout you.”

My heart sank. Show me.”

Sarah reluctantly handed me her phone, a video already cued up on Instagram

The screen showed Rachel sitting in what looked like a cheap motel room, her eyes red from crying, her usually perfect makeup

smudged

I can’t stay silent anymore, she began, her voice trembling. What Olivia Winters has done to her family is unforgivable.”

I felt my blood run cold as she continued

For years, I’ve watched her cheat on her husband with other pack members, while Derek worked tirelessly to support their

family.”

Cheat? I had never been unfaithful a day in my life

She’s swallowed up the family’s money, spending it on herself while Derek struggled to keep his business afloat,Rachel continued, tears flowing freely now

The camera panned to reveal Derek sitting on a bed behind her, his face still bruised, looking defeated. The injuries I’d seen earlier that morning were displayed for maximum sympathy

The video

Yesterday, she kicked both her husband and her little boy out of their home,Rachel sobbed. “They had nowhere to go but the shelter, where they were attacked by stray wolves. Derek was nearly killed trying to protect his son!”

My hands were shaking with rage as I continued watching

I couldn’t stand to see her evil behavior anymore, which is why I’m coming forward,Rachel wiped her tears dramatically. I’m Derek’s assistant. He helped me when I had nothing, and I’m grateful to him. I can’t bear to see them on the street, so I had to

speak up.”

The video cut to Oliver, sitting on Rachel’s lap. His small face was tearstained, his eyes downcast

Tell them, sweetheart,Rachel prompted gently. Tell them what your mother did.”

Oliver looked directly at the camera, his bottom lip quivering. She doesn’t feed me proper food. She never let me do rock climbing training like the other wolf pups. She yells at me all the time.”

He began to sob, burying his face in Rachel’s shoulder. I won’t fight back anymore. Please, Mom, don’t leave me alone.”

The video ended with Rachel stroking Oliver’s hair, looking directly at the camera with righteous indignation. Share this video. Help us stop Olivia Winters before she hurts her family even more.”

I handed the phone back to Sarah, my hands trembling with rage. Every word of that is a lie.”

Sarah nodded sympathetically. I know. Anyone who knows you would never believe you’d do those things.”

But many don’t know me,I said quietly, thinking of the looks I’d been getting all morning

The video has over fifty thousand views already,Sarah admitted. It’s being shared across all pack territories.”

I closed my eyes, trying to control my anger. This was Rachel’s revenge to destroy my reputation when she couldn’t have my

life
