However, it was different for the brothers who abandoned me. Ryan kept sending me numerous apology messages. He told me that he was tricked by Nancy and only realized how much I meant to him when he lost me.
Ryan continued to say that he missed the stew I used to make for him every day and that he wanted to have my home–cooked meals.
His messages reminded me of how I had picked up medical knowledge to make them happy. I would come up with diet plans for each of them based on their health and deliver the food to them every day.
However, Ryan seemed to have forgotten how he had thrown away the food I cooked in front of me every time I delivered them after Nancy maligned me. The look of disdain he gave me made it seem like what I made was not food but something dirty.

Just when I thought peace and quiet had returned to my world, the brothers appeared at Cole’s door. They quickly approached me and blocked my way with loving looks when they saw me walk out the door.
