Two days before the wedding, Wales and Anna left traces of their passion everywhere in the new house. While caught in the
throes of their passion, Anna hugged Wales tightly and asked, “I can make you happier. Why don’t you let me be Mrs. Price
instead?”
She didn’t expect Wales‘ sudden change in behavior. One second, his eyes were glazed over with want as he promised to buy a
villa for her, his arms wrapped around her slender waist. In the next second, his movements ceased as the haze of desire in his
eyes receded instantly.
“Anna, I’ll spoil you as much as you want as long as Joey doesn’t find out about us. But you need to know your place. There are
some things that you cannot ask for,” he warned.
Surprise flickered over Anna’s face. She didn’t expect that she wouldn’t be able to replace me, not after staying by Wales‘ side and
pleasing him for three years.
But Anna knew how to keep a man happy. She straddled Wales‘ lap and whispered honeyed words into his ear. It didn’t take long
for the lustful desire to return to Wales‘ gaze. The noises of their doing reverberated around the room once more.
On the day of the wedding, Wales rose early from bed.
Jealousy flashed in Anna’s eyes when she watched him put on a tie in front of the mirror. She hugged him from behind and left a lipstick mark behind his ear when he wasn’t paying attention.
Wales chuckled as he turned around to caress her face. “Be good. Once I’m back from my honeymoon, I’ll take you on a holiday by
the beach for a week.”
When Wales was on the way to the wedding venue, he turned on his phone and noticed that I hadn’t sent him any messages. I
didn’t send him a reminder about leaving for the wedding venue on time. Eventually, he realized that the last message in our chat
was the one he sent me two days ago.
Wales felt a little panicked. However, he was already nearing the venue. He assumed he would see me soon, and he hadn’t forgotten about the surprise I had promised to give him. He quickly suppressed the anxious feelings simmering in his chest.
