For years, he hadn’t experienced pain like this.
Now, it felt as if something was relentlessly hammering against his skull.
The medication was out of the question, and even after Raymond spent a long time massaging his temples, the agony refused to subside.
His vision started to blur, splitting into double images.
With no other option, Percy reluctantly called Stellar, hoping to get the formula from her.
“Sorry, the number you have dialed…”
His expression darkened.

Grinding his teeth, he ended the call and turned to Raymond, holding out his hand.
“Give me your phone.”
Feeling the heavy pressure radiating from Percy’s cold demeanor, Raymond didn’t dare ask questions.

“Hello, who is this?”

He had never seen someone beg for help with that kind of attitude.

On the other end of the line, Stellar let out a soft laugh–one laced with pure disbelief.
He was asking her for help? With that tone?
Her voice turned ice–cold as she answered without hesitation.
“Oh? Mr. Moore is that rich? Alright then, since you’re offering money, transfer one million dollars over first.”

Percy’s eyes widened in disbelief. “Stellar Rivers, have you lost your damn mind? One million dollars? Why don’t you just rob a bank while you’re at it!”
Stellar let out a light scoff, her tone dripping with mockery.
“What’s wrong? The mighty CEO of Moore Enterprises can’t even spare one million? Oh, wait–without me, you probably can’t
even keep your company afloat, let alone take it public. Don’t act rich when you can’t afford it, broke boy.”
Her words hit like a slap to the face, turning Percy’s expression dark with fury.
His chest rose and fell violently as he struggled to contain his anger.
“Stellar, don’t push your luck!”
She chuckled. “Push my luck? That’s rich, coming from you, Mr. Moore. And honestly, if your head hurts so much, why don’t you go to a hospital? I’m not a doctor.”
With that, she ended the call and blocked his number again.

Percy roared in frustration, his face contorted with rage.
He hurled the phone aside and slammed his fist into the car window.
Pain shot through his hand, the skin bruising instantly, but he barely felt it.
The physical pain was nothing compared to the way she had treated him.
