One night,I sat at a bar, swirling my glass of red wine, watching the rich liquid catch the light. It wasn’t that I was a big drinker, but tonight felt different..
I turned my head slightly, not expecting to see anyone who’d catch my attention. But then I saw a man. Tall, effortlessly confident, with the kind of presence that made everyone in the room take notice.
When he reached the bar, he didn’t hesitate. He stopped right next to me, as if he had planned it all along.
“Beautiful lady,you look like you could use a drink,” he said, his voice smooth like silk, low and intriguing.
I didn’t know why, but there was something about him. Something that made me respond without thinking. “Who are you?“]]
“Matthew Walker.”
I heard his name for many times, whispered in circles of wealthy executives and socialites. The CEO of Walker Corp.
“No, you’re not,” she replied, her voice steady despite the fluttering in her chest. “It’s not every day a CEO of a billion–dollar company walks into a place like this.“[]
Matthew chuckled, leaning in just a little closer. “And why is that?“]
she smiled, the warmth from the wine spreading to her cheeks. “No, I’m just… surprised.”
“Don’t you think you should ask yourself that?” he replied with a grin. “You’re the one sitting here, alone, on a Friday night.“[]

And before she even realized it, the night morning. We left the bar and found themselves at his penthouse, high above the city, where the lights outside cast everything in a dreamlike glow.
The next thing, I was in his bed, tangled in sheets, the weight of his body pressed against me. The passion was unexpected, intense, and I had no idea how it had happened, but I couldn’t bring herself to care anymore.[]
