Amelia opened her mouth. Before she could utter a word, Sierra had rushed into the kitchen.
She looked angry. “Vince, did you take her here?”
There was almost imperceptible jealousy in her voice
Vince was beating eggs with one hand. He didn’t turn around, his tone calm. Yes. Amelia slept here last night. Have you had breakfast? I only cooked for her and myself”
Sierra pouted. “I’m losing weight. I will fain skip breakfast.”
She turned around and swept a hostile gaze past Amelia.
In comparison, the guy came with her was much friendlier. He introduced himself. “Hello. I’m Miles Prescott Im Vince’s partner.
Miles looked easy–going, with a pair of big glasses. Amelia thought he looked like that kind of scholar–winning guy in campus.
She smiled and introduced herself too. “Hello, I’m Amelia Ellington.”
Then she paused, wondering how to introduce her relationship with Vince. Friends? But no, she denied it in the next second
Soon the breakfast was ready. The breakfast meant for two was distributed into four shares.
After they were seated, Sierra asked on purpose, “Miss Ellington, do you come here specially to celebrate Vince’s birthday!”
She was smiling and when she smiled, her eyelashes fluttered. Amelia was charmed and told the truth.
“No, I was drunk last night. So Vince took me in
“I see, Sierra seemed satisfied with her answer, then she turned to Vince. “Vince, it is your 28th birthday. How do you want to celebrate it?”
“Let’s go out for lunch as usual.
“Okay, I’ll reserve a restaurant
Gradually, the three of them started to talk about job.

Amelia had no way to cut in.
After eating up
her share of breakfast, she stood up. “Thank you for your breakfast, Vince, I’m going home first. Bye!”
She turned around, but Vince grasped her wrist.
“Have lunch with us. It’s my birthday. Don’t you want to come
Amelia muttered, But I have no proper dress. I’ll shame you”
Vince smiled, “Don’t worry.I brought you a few last night. It’s in your room. Go and pick them.”
It was surprisingly considerate. Vince prepared everything for her, including new clothes, so that she wouldn’t feel inconvenient in the slightest
way.
Amelia had no reason to refuse. So she changed into a smart dress and went out with them.
The restaurant Sierra chose was upscale and niche. Its environment was elegant,
Vague music wafted in the air. The hall was grand. The guests were few and dressed well
After ordering. Amelia went to the toilet. When she walked out, she found Sierra standing at the door. It seemed she was waiting for her on
purpose
Sierra smiled at her. “Miss Ellington, we haven’t talked formally since we met Thank you for your help last time that helped to dispel my rumor. Otherwise, I would be quite perturbed.”
Amelia nodded. “Miss Havoc, I also have to thank you for my mother’s sake.”
The two changed a tacit smile,

A silent war started between them.
Amelia studied Sierra attentively. The later had perfect skin, outstanding features, and hot figure.
She was one of the prettiest even in the entertainment circle, let alone among normal people.
Any women would feel inferior in front of her.
Sierra was also observing Amelia and found she had underestimated her.
On a closer look, Amelia looked tolerably pretty. Though not as hot as her on first sight, she had something attractive herself.
Yet Sierra was sure she could win.
She said proudly. Td love to inform you that Vince and I have been engaged. We’ll get married next year. If you have time, please make it to our wedding”
Before Amelia could reply, she added, “Don’t worry. Though I’m Vince’s fiancée, I will not interfere with his affairy/We’re in an open relationship. Miss Ellington, do you mind that?”
