Chasing His Wolfless Luna Back
Consequences–1
Sebastian’s POV
I raced back to the hospital, rage still boiling in my veins. I couldn’t fucking believe Aurora had become this petty, hurting Thea just because I didn’t love her anymore.
The more I thought about it, the angrier I got. My grip on the steering wheel was so tight I could barely control the car. I forced myself to relax, picturing Thea’s beautiful smile in my mind. The last thing we needed was me getting into an accident too.
I continued driving, my thoughts a chaotic mess. What the hell happened to Aurora? She used to be such a kind she–wolf, pure like an angel, which was one of the reasons I fell for her. But looking at her now, the girl I loved when I was younger had completely
vanished.
The girl I once fell in love with wouldn’t hurt others so maliciously. She wouldn’t coldly ignore and push away her nephew. She wouldn’t be cruel enough to threaten my son or fabricate lies to get her way.
I know people change. We shed our childish behaviors and mature. But Aurora changed for the fucking worst. She’d transformed into someone I couldn’t recognize. Someone I could never love.
Thea changed too, but unlike Aurora, she changed for the better. She shed her naivety and grew into a woman any male would proudly claim as his own.
What frustrated me was how long it took me to see this, to see her worth… but better late than never knowing at all.
Now, I’d do anything to make sure she stayed by my side. I’d burn the whole world to the ground if I had to.
I reached the hospital and parked. I ignored everyone, heading straight to the waiting room.
“Where’s Phoenix?” I asked as soon as I walked in.
All three of them were still there. Still sitting, waiting for Thea to wake up. My only hope was that when she woke up, everything would be normal, with no additional side effects.
“In the nursery,” Seraphina answered, looking exhausted. “She was fed, changed, and fell asleep immediately.”
Sighing, I looked at them. “You two need rest… actually, you need a fucking vacation.”
“We don’t need anyone telling us what to do,” Seraphina frowned, though there was no malice in her voice.
I didn’t want to admit it, but I did worry about them. The past few months had brought us closer than before. They still didn’t trust that I wouldn’t hurt their daughter again, but they weren’t as hostile towards me as before.
Besides, they would soon be my in–laws since I planned to make Thea my Luna again–officially in name. So of course, I worried
about them.
“We’ll rest when Thea wakes up,” Maximus answered simply.
The man was stubborn as a mule. Arguing was pointless.
After sitting down, I turned to my brother.
“Don’t even think about making me leave,” Damien warned, “I’m staying here until I know Thea’s okay.”
He knew me too well. He didn’t need to guess what I was thinking or what I’d make him do. We were twins. He knew me like the

back of his hand.
I exhaled, leaning back in my chair. Closing my eyes, I tried to control my emotions.
“Where did you go?” Damien asked after a while.
I opened my eyes, noticing the Kincaid couple also staring at me will curiosity.
“The Sterling house, to see Aurora… I needed to confirm something.
“What?” Seraphina asked sharply.
I glared at her distrust, but at the same time, I understood her. I’d hurt her daughter deeply because of my love for Aurora. Of course she’d be suspicious of me leaving Thea at the hospital to see Aurora.
“I confirmed with her… that she’s the one who hurt Thea. She pushed Thea in the bathroom, and Thea’s head hit the wall. That’s why Thea was bleeding. I’m guessing that’s also why she collapsed.” My tone hardened as I recalled Aurora’s confession.

It made me want to wrap my hands around her throat and make her see stars.
“That damn spoiled brat,” Maximus growled angrily, his eyes beginning to flicker gold. “What did you do about it? I hope you didn’t let her walk away.”
“Don’t worry, I’ve taken care of it.” A smile touched my lips. Aurora would think twice before ever hurting Thea again.
Alpha Ashworth?”
We all turned toward the nurse’s voice.
“Ms. Thea is awake.”
We all visibly relaxed. I’d been worried she wouldn’t wake up.
Her parents stood.
“Can we see her?” Seraphina asked eagerly.
“Maybe in a little while,” she said, turning to me, “she’s asking for you.”
I nodded and followed the nurse to Thea’s room. She opened the door for me and left.
Walking slowly to her bed, I noticed that although she looked groggy, she also seemed tense. Like she was worried about something.
“I’m sorry,” she blurted out as soon as I sat down and took her hand,
I was shocked. Not quite sure what she was apologizing for. I mean, she hadn’t done anything wrong.
“For what?” I asked cautiously.
“I might have provoked Aurora… I don’t know what came over me when I said those things.”
She looked so worried and scared. It confused me because I didn’t understand what her words to Aurora had to do with her apology.
“What did you say to her?”
“She kept telling me you belonged to her, saying I should stop using my amnesia to force you to stay with me. I don’t know what came over me. I got angry and told her if you were really hers, then why do you come home to me every day since I woke up?”
I couldn’t help but laugh. She looked so adorable I just wanted to kiss her.
“It’s not funny,” she frowned at me.
“It kind of is, Thea.”
She sighed tiredly, letting go of my hand and placing hers on the blanket.
“I know you never liked me provoking her. I’m really sorry about that We’ve been doing so well, and I don’t want that to affect us.”
I finally understood why she looked worried. The old me would have blown up at her for this. I would have gotten angry and said some very nasty things to her. She was expecting that to happen. She was expecting me to be angry with her.

I cupped her cheek gently and placed a soft kiss on her lips.
“You don’t need to apologize for telling her the truth, Thea. I don’t want her, if I did, I would be with her right now. My body, mind, soul, and wolf only want you. No one else. So you were right. I come home every day because that’s where I want to be. With you, Leo, and Phoenix.”
She visibly relaxed.
“You really mean that?”
I just nodded, letting her see the truth in my eyes. “With every heartbeat I have.”
“Thank you… I can sleep peacefully now. I was worried that would cause friction between us,” she murmured sleepily.
“Rest, my love… I’ll be here when you wake up.”
Within seconds, she was completely asleep. I continued watching her sleep, once again thanking the Goddess for giving me a second chance with her.
I was thinking about all the things I’d do to make it up to her when my phone rang.
“What is it?” I asked irritably.
“Aurora has been arrested,” Kestrel answered.
“You know what to do next.”
“Yes, Alpha.”
“Good.”
With that, I hung up, smiling to myself. The arrest was just the beginning.
