The little boy in the ice coffin had long, thick eyelashes, and his face was as gentle and serene as an angel’s. But his body was
covered in the marks of the lone wolf’s bites, his limbs burnt by silver, leaving charred holes in his flesh.
The werewolves around us all had expressions of sorrow and disbelief, whispering to each other.
“Poor little one, what did he do wrong to deserve such a brutal punishment?”
“He must have gone through a fierce battle, and only succumbed after falling into a silver trap.‘

Ivy’s arms, as if he were a weak prey animal.
Ivy, protective of her son, screamed, “Who did this? Who is behind this cruel prank?”
She quickly turned to me, “Grace, is it you? Have you gone mad? Why curse your own son? What do you want to achieve?”
When she saw I didn’t react, she turned to Anthony, looking pitiful and helpless, “Anthony, please, make this stop!”
Anthony’s soul seemed to return at Ivy’s plea. Without thinking, he roared at me, “Andrew pretended to be dead to avoid responsibility! Grace, where did you hide him? I’ll tear his skin off myself!”
“Lucas’s heroic deed is battling the lone wolf to protect all his packmates. Why does he insist on ‘dying‘ at Lucas’s award ceremony? How malicious is his intent?”
I ignored Anthony’s accusations and focused on the shared memories from the crystal ball.
I had watched them a thousand times, yet each time I couldn’t help but cry.
During the battie assessment, Andrew had received an A grade. He smiled happily and told the rating teacher, “Great! My dad will
be so proud. I’ll be as strong as him one day.”
