Chapter 6
I had seen this little wolf cub in Andrew’s memories.
When Andrew was nailed to the crucifix, she trembled all over, her tears brimming in her eyes.
When the lone wolves attacked, Lucas abandoned her to them, running away to save himself. Andrew, straining against the cross,
fought desperately to protect her.
She watched helplessly as the filthy claws of the lone wolf pierced Anthony’s back.
Afterward, she stood up, and the other young wolves who had been present also stood with her.
Lucas glared at them, “You! You traitors!”
With the help of these cubs, the truth finally came to light.
Lucas was the tyrant at school, skilled at putting on a façade, manipulating people behind their backs. He was envious of Andrew’s excellence, and with Anthony’s favor, he covertly bullied Andrew.
When Andrew became the first A–ranked warrior in the training camp that day, Lucas’s jealousy overwhelmed him, and he tried
to lure Andrew into the lone wolf’s den.
They hadn’t anticipated that Lucas would be so cruel. They were too young and too scared to stop him.
After escaping, Lucas intentionally injured himself with a silver knife, twisting the story. He made it seem like he was injured while trying to rescue Andrew and the others, painting Andrew as the one who stubbornly entered the lone wolves‘ den.
Such a clumsy lie–without a second thought, Anthony, the Alpha of Moonshadow Pack, believed it.
The young cubs, now witnessing their own memories, couldn’t help but weep.
“We’re so sorry, Luna. We didn’t mean to.”
“I’ve been dreaming of Andrew every night since we left. I regret not having the courage to stop Lucas then.”
“Andrew was brave and kind. We never hated him. It was always Lucas who pressured us to bully him.”
“We were too afraid to oppose Lucas because Alpha treated him so well. Alpha never treated Andrew the same. Andrew always seemed like Alpha’s adopted son. Lucas even claimed that he was Alpha’s real son!”
I watched the companions my son had saved, apologizing or expressing their gratitude, as if washing away the filth from my
son’s reputation.
It felt like I had won a battle. Finally, I could no longer endure the backlash from sharing the memories. My vision went black, and
I collapsed into someone’s arms.
I woke again.

As soon as I opened my eyes, I saw Anthony.
His eyes were filled with dark circles, and his voice was hoarse, “You’re finally awake. You’ve been asleep for three days and
nights. I stayed by your side, afraid… afraid you’d leave me like Andrew.”
“Did you sign the mate bond termination agreement?” That was all I cared about.
Anthony lowered his head in agony, “Grace, I’ve already lost Andrew. I can’t lose you too. I’ve severely punished Ivy and Lucas.”
“I was wrong. Please forgive me. I’ll spend the rest of my life making it up to you. We’ll have another child, and we’ll raise him
just like Andrew…”
Before he could finish his words, I slapped him hard.
I was so furious that I could no longer control my inner wolf. Five deep claw marks appeared on Anthony’s face.
“Anthony, the biggest regret of my life was choosing you as my mate!”
“I will request the Wolf Council to enforce this termination. Even if you are Alpha, you won’t be able to stop me from leaving!”
Anthony licked the blood from the corner of his mouth, his golden eyes filled with obsession. “You won’t leave me. Even if it
means you die, you’ll die by my side.”
I had been gravely weakened, forced to stay at Moonshadow Pack to recover.
This was my chance to sever the mate bond with Anthony and process my request to leave the pack.
Anthony visited me often, using every means to try to keep me with him. But I remained silent, “My heart died with our son.”
He would often speak of the happy times we once shared, back when Ivy had yet to appear. After handling his pack duties, Anthony would return home, and Andrew would climb onto his shoulders. He’d hold my hand while we walked, and every night, the three of us would sleep together. I would tell Andrew the stories of werewolf heroes, and Andrew would eagerly declare, “I
want to be a hero like Dad.”
He would often break down in tears while telling these memories.
But all I could feel was hatred toward him.
Packmates visited me too.
They told me that Anthony had likely gone mad, forcing Ivy to inject silver substances into her own son.
Because Ivy failed to raise her child properly, Lucas killed the Alpha’s son. If she didn’t personally punish her own son, then it would be Ivy herself who would be punished.
In the end, Ivy chose to abandon Lucas to protect herself!
I felt a sense of satisfaction upon hearing this. The world’s karma is a powerful thing. Lucas’s actions led to the death of my son and caused his own father to abandon him. Eventually, he was discarded by his mother as well.
