Chapter 15 Attend My Wedding
Vanessa held Zane’s arm tightly, like she was afraid he’d run over to her next, her eyes full of defensiveness and braggadocio
When the racy photos broke five years ago, Vanessa went to jail, Zane’s family was discredited overnight, and he did everything in his power to keep the press down]
The year she was released from prison, Zane was forced to get engaged to her–not out of love, but by his family. []

Vanessa smiled at Leora and said, “Leora, why didn’t you tell me and Zane you were back?” []
“There’s no need to do that, right?“]
I heard that you cut ties with the Bradley family in order to go abroad.]
Do you want to go back to visit the Bradley family?” Vanessa seemed to be concerned as she said hurtful words on purpose.
“Vanessa, let’s go,” said Zane when he saw that Leora was in a dilemma.[]
“What’s the hurry? I haven’t seen Leora for a long time, and I want to talk to her!]
Vanessa didn’t give Leora a chance to refuse and forcibly pulled Leora to the elevator.[]

Leora raised her head and wanted to peep at the man, but Vanessa was standing in front of her in high heels.[]

“What?” Leora did not know what Vanessa just said, so she asked as she looked at Vanessa.]

Vanessa raised her slender hand. There was a shining diamond ring on her ring finger. Her eyes were full of pride. She said, “It’s the 18th of next month. I hope you will come. 1
The familiar and expensive diamond ring hurt Leora.]
She remembered that when she and Zane went to the jewelry store in the past, she pointed at a ring and said she wanted it to be their wedding ring Unexpectedly, today, this diamond ring appeared on Vanessa’s hand.[]
“I just started working. I may not be free.” Leora turned her head away, lest she felt even worse.]
“Leora, just come” Vanessa held Leora’s hand in an intimate way and smiled. “I have wanted you to be my bridesmaid for a long time.“]
Jmora sneered in her neart.]
She thought, “Do you mean you have wanted to steal my boyfriend for a long time?“]‘
Seeing that Leora didn’t speak, Vanessa thought about it and smiled. “I know that you’re afraid that you will be alone without a male companion. It doesn’t matter. I have a lot of friends. I can introduce them to you.“]
I have a boyfriend, but we’re not available
“Besides, I’m afraid he won’t allow me to attend the engagement party between my ex–boyfriend and my best friend.” Leora puslied Vanessa’s hand away quietly
Zane’s face turned a little gloomy]
Vanessa’s face stiffened, and she enthusiastically pulled Leora’s hand. “Leora, why don’t you introduce your boyfriend to us? I have to thank him for taking care of you so well. ”
There’s no need. He’s very busy.”
As Leora tried to dodge, she tripped. Her ankle was twisted, and she fell down. Vanessa did not intend to help Leora and quietly moved to the side
Leora threw forward and hit a hard chest.
Her forehead hurt.
A sheer came from above her head, and it was somewhat familiar
