Later, I heard from mutual friends that Vanessa had aborted the child and completely severed ties with Quintus.
Fortunately for him, his company eventually stabilized and successfully went public. Quintus was even promoted to CEO of the
Vancouston region.
Rumor had it that Vanessa later tried to rekindle things with him, but he avoided her at every turn.
Vanessa sat on the rooftop of their company building, threatening Quintus. “I’ve been with you all these years, and now you
expect me to just walk away peacefully? Do you think I’m your ex–wife? I’m not some weak woman.”
When he still didn’t show up, she turned her threats on others. “If Quintus doesn’t come out to see me, I’ll jump off this roof and
take your stock down with me. If I can’t be happy, then no one will be.”
The rich man Vanessa had been seeing recently turned out to be a man who lived off his wife. After his wife found out, she beat
Vanessa and threatened to make her life miserable if she ever contacted her husband again.
With nowhere else to turn, Vanessa thought she could still rely on Quintus, believing that his past obsession with her would make
him forgive and take her back.
What she didn’t expect was that after the divorce, Quintus focused entirely on his career and didn’t even acknowledge her. The
rejection unhinged her, driving her to this desperate act.
Under pressure from his company, Quintus finally went to the rooftop to confront her.
“You’ve already ruined me enough. What more do you want?” he asked.
“I want to marry you! You promised me you would,” she shouted.
“When I was at my lowest point, you aborted our child and ran off with someone else. Now that I’m doing well, you come back to
- me. What is this? I can’t get past it. Let ine go, and let’s part ways peacefully,” Quintus said, trying to reason with her.
He cautiously moved closer, hoping to pull her away from the edge and put an end to this madness.
Yet, Vanessa had become too unstable after her recent abuse. As soon as she heard Quintus’s words, she was determined to end it
all.
Just as Quintus grabbed her hand, she pulled him with her.
Both of them fell to their deaths.
I heard that their deaths were gruesome, and there was no one to identify the bodies.
The police station called me, asking what my relationship with Quintus was and if I wanted to take care of the arrangements since. he had passed away.
I was already at the airport, holding a ticket to Shovania.

The officer on the other end awkwardly laughed. “Alright, then.”
