Chapter 21
Faced with the sharp interrogation. Theo’s mind was a tangled mess, a chaotic jumble of thoughts.
His temper flared, and he shoved aside Sierra, who was standing at the front, “All of you, get the hell out of my way! Mind your own business!”
A collective gop filled the air, and after a brief pause, a torrent of curses flooded back. Seeing the bodyguards rushing towards him, Theo bolted, running as fast as he could, leaving the crowd behind.
Theo, Theo! Don’t leave me here alone!” Ivy sat on the ground, crying and shouting. Her face was pale and lifeless, like a paper doll about to
crumble.
Theo glanced back at her, pausing for a moment, but seeing the hostile reporters closing in, he turned and ran even faster, leaving Ivy in a state of humiliation and despair.
A white car pulled up in front of him, and he yanked open the door, jumping in. Thankfully, it was his own car.
The driver, Rick, respectfully said, “Madam sent me to pick you up”
“Rick, drive, quick! Let’s get home! These people are crazy. 30
annoying.
The car sped down the road, and Thea watched as the crowd faded into the distance. He felt a moment of relief, unaware of the storm awaiting
him.
At 11 am, at the Hartwell residence, The entered the house to find his father, Victor, sitting in front of the computer in the living room. He approached him, trying to be friendly, “Dad, what are you looking at?”
“Thwack!” A loud smack echoed through the TOOM
Victor slammed his hand on the table and stood up abruptly, pointing at Theo and scolding. “You’re a disgrace I don’t have a son like you!”
“Wh… What happened?”
“You dare to ask? Look for yourself!”
Victor kicked him in the knee, sending him crashing to the floor. Looking down, he saw the computer screen filled with negative news about him.. Only then did he realize the seriousness of the situation
The woman who had recklessly interviewed him that day was no ordinary reporter; she was a famous actress.
The combination of social scandal and celebrity gossip created an unimaginable crisis. Theo’s disgraceful behavior became a hot topic locally. Soon, people started digging into his background, and the fire spread to the Eponix Group.
Stock prices plummeted, negative reviews flooded in, and even long–term clients put their projects on hold.
Worse still, some busybodies started exposing the company’s dark secrets. As a brand that had weathered the business world for decades, it was inevitable that there were skeletons in the closet. They couldn’t control the narrative and were at the mercy of public opinion.
If the company didn’t deal with Thea, the economic damage would be immeasurable. Theo felt a chill run down his spine, and he slumped to the ground, feeling as if his backbone had been ripped out, powerless to stand.
Every move seemed calculated, one scandal after another, pushing public opinion to its peak. The opponent was ruthless, giving no quarter, intent on destroying him completely.
Father and son stood in tense silence, the atmosphere in the room heavy,
Cheryl, seeing the situation escalating, quickly intervened, “Honey, calm down. Then knows he’s wrong. Look at him, he’s lost so much weight after bring detained. He’s suffered enough”
Victor’s brow furrowed, “He deserves it! Doing something to disgraceful, he’s not fit to be

Theo’s eyes lost their spark, and he let out a sigh, “Dad, I know I was wrong. I’ll change, I promise. Please forgive me this time!
Tu like to forgive you, but look at what’s happening online. Those people won’t let this go, and Amelia won’t forgive you either!”
I’ll go beg her. I can fix this”
Victor sighed silently, knowing that begging wouldn’t work. With over twenty years in Inisiness, he believed he understood women. They might seem soft, but when driven to madness, they became cold and ruthless, like a fierce cheriali

Theo followed closely behind, his eyes concealing all his anger and turmoil, dark and unpredictable.
