Wild Pleasure Business (Part 1)
Thea’s POV
The weekend had passed pleasantly. Nothing particularly exciting had happened, but I thoroughly enjoyed the time spent with Seraphina and Maximus. They were temporarily staying in our city for me and Leo (and I suspected partly for Kane too), which I truly appreciated.
They were the kind of parents I’d always wished the Sterlings could be. Loving, caring, considerate, and absolutely without that cold–blooded obsession with bloodlines or discrimination against the wolfless. The Sterlings were the complete opposite, except
when it came to their attitudes toward Aurora and Roman.
Honestly, they treated even Sebastian and Damien better than they ever treated me,
despite claiming I was their daughter.
The more time I spent with Seraphina and Maximus, the more I accepted them as my parents. Being around them, I started to understand why Kane worshiped them so much, even though he wasn’t their biological son. When you’re surrounded by real parental love,
that feeling is indescribable–not the kind of authority maintained by status and fear, but
genuine care.
“Where the hell is she?” Sophia asked irritably, interrupting my thoughts.
We were waiting for Iris at a coffee shop, and she was late as usual. That woman had absolutely no concept of time despite being a future Luna of Sterling.
“She’ll show up. Probably just running a bit behind,” I mumbled with a mouthful of
strawberry muffin.
My pregnancy cravings had kicked in, and they were driving me fucking insane. All I wanted now were muffins and cupcakes. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner–I was living on
them. Most other foods I tried tasted like chewing bark and were nearly impossible to
swallow.
“We agreed to meet here at two,” she complained, irritation twisting her beautiful face.
I chuckled at her annoyed expression. “You’ll soon discover that Iris is almost never on time. The sooner you accept that, the easier your life will be.”

She continued silently fuming, and I knew why. Sophia wasn’t the type who liked being kept waiting. She was extremely punctual. She’d rather arrive an hour early than be a second late.
While she sulked, I continued eating my muffin. I was really fucking hungry all the time.
It had been worse when I was pregnant with Leo. Back then, I could barely keep anything down, and no medication worked until around the sixth month of pregnancy. That’s also why Sebastian’s coldness had cut so deep. There I was, struggling to survive because I couldn’t keep food in my system, while he spent all day pining for Aurora, completely unconcerned that I was losing weight and my pregnancy was going terribly.
I was hospitalized several times in the Pack hospital because doctors were worried about my health and Leo’s, and Sebastian never once came to see me.
I understood that he was heartbroken over losing Aurora, but was that really more
important than your pup’s health? I was so stupid back then, even willing to make excuses for his coldness.
Pushing those thoughts away, I focused on my friend. She kept lightly tapping her foot against the floor.
“Okay, what’s got you so fidgety?” I finally asked.
“I have a business proposal I wanted to present to you and Iris, but since she’s absurdly
late, I might as well tell you. The idea is driving me crazy,” she said after a moment’s
pause.
“Alright…”
“This might sound a bit unconventional for Pack traditions, and not something people of our status usually venture into…”
The moment she said this, my interest was piqued. She was implying this wasn’t normal
traditional business, and what kind of business would make her frown? This was new.
“Go on.”
“I think we should start a sex toy company together,” she said bluntly, her expression serious, her wolf eyes gleaming.

I choked on my muffin, unsure if I’d heard correctly.
“What did you say?” I gasped.
“A sex toy company,” she repeated. “Think about it. Sex toys are not only popular in the human world but are becoming increasingly popular in werewolf society. I bet seventy percent of she–wolves have them, whether single or mated. Even males are starting to accept them as a way to enhance the mate bond in bed.”
I stared at her, my jaw nearly hitting the floor. While werewolves were more open about sexuality than humans, this kind of “business proposal” still seemed too bold and absurd
to me.
“What’s got Thea so shocked?” Iris’s voice suddenly cut in as she slid into her seat. I hadn’t even heard her approach. That’s how shocked I was.
“I just told Thea that the three of us should consider opening a sex toy company,” Sophia
answered.
I expected Iris to take the same stance as me, but to my surprise, her eyes immediately lit
- up.
“Goddess above! That’s a brilliant idea!” she practically howled.
“Are you two insane?” I asked, but they completely ignored me.
“It’s genius. I mean, what woman doesn’t have those little things that bring pleasure?” Sophia asked rhetorically.
“I don’t.”

Thea’s POV
They both turned to me with expressions as if I’d just announced I was planning to elope with Rogues.
“You don’t? Really?” Iris seemed so surprised by this, which I couldn’t understand why.
“No, and I never have.”
“Then you’ve been missing out on a lot of fun, darling,” Sophia said sympathetically.
Truthfully, I had considered it, but my sex life with Sebastian was never at a level where introducing anything new was possible. For him, it was just the release of male instincts; for me, it was a futile attempt to build a connection between us beyond Leo.
“I think we should do this. As Sophia said, it’s a profitable business. We just need to find a way to differentiate ourselves from those human sex toy manufacturers,” Iris said happily.
“So it’s settled. I’ll draft a proposal and email it to both of you once I’ve covered everything,” Sophia smiled, looking more relaxed.
“Wait, I haven’t agreed to this damn idea yet,” I hurried to say.
But Iris completely ignored my protest. “We should do thorough research. Since Thea hasn’t used any products before, she should be the one to purchase all the brands on sale and try them out. She can be our test subject. A complete novice will help us evaluate what’s lacking in those products and how we can improve.”
Sophia nodded in agreement, a satisfied smile on her face. I could smell her excitement. And I wasn’t excited at all because apparently, I was about to become their guinea pig in
some way.
“Do I have any say in this?” I asked irritably.
“Not really. We’re going to make you a lot of money, so…” Iris trailed off meaningfully.
“You do realize I don’t need money, right? I have my own foundation, and my financial situation is much better than you imagine.”

Sophia just shrugged. “That’s beside the point. Didn’t you say you needed a new
challenge? Well, here it is. This will keep you busy without exhausting you, especially considering your pregnancy.”
I thought for a moment, then sighed. I mean, how bad could it be?
“Fine,” I conceded.
The two of them both squealed with excitement, hugging me tightly and squeezing the breath out of me. Seeing their enthusiasm, a strange sense of anticipation also welled up inside me. It had been a long time since I’d felt excited about anything, and maybe this ridiculous plan could breathe some life into my deadened soul.
“Now that that’s settled, I have a question for you, Thea,” Iris turned to me after we separated, her expression becoming mysterious.
I looked at her quizzically, then nodded for her to continue. “Go ahead.”
“Who is Jaxon?”
I was surprised by her question. I had never told them about Jaxon. And I hadn’t seen him since that one time he brought Wyatt over to my house as promised a while back. Wyatt had been coming over to see Leo often, but I hadn’t seen his father again.
“He’s my new neighbor. How do you know about him?”
“Roman told me,” she paused, and I frowned in confusion. How would Roman know about Jaxon?
“Apparently, Leo mentioned him at the Pack gathering. Not just mentioned–Leo told Sebastian that Jaxon makes you happy and that he wouldn’t mind if you married Jaxon, giving him and Wyatt more siblings. Roman said Sebastian nearly split the table in half and almost shifted.”
“What?” Sophia’s eyes widened.
“Yep. Roman said he’d never seen Sebastian so jealous and out of control, Iris added gleefully.
I burst out laughing. I laughed so hard that my stomach started to cramp. This was too

absurd! Sebastian jealous over me? Do you know how ridiculous that sounds? If there’s anyone who wouldn’t care if I slept with every werewolf out there, it would be Sebastian. Leo was such a little mischief–maker, making up stories at the Pack gathering.
“This has to be a joke, right?” I asked her after I finished laughing.
Sebastian would only lose control over Aurora. He would never feel a genuine emotion for me, let alone jealousy.
“It’s not. Roman said even he’s starting to question Sebastian’s true feelings for you,” Iris insisted.
“Why is it so hard for you to believe that Sebastian would be jealous?” Sophia asked curiously.
“Because I know him too well,” I said with a bitter smile. “He was probably just angry that Leo was trying to push us together again.”
I turned to Iris: “As for Roman, please assure him that nothing is happening. When his sister returned, he asked me not to stand in the way of Sebastian and Aurora’s happiness, and so far, I’ve kept my word.”
“I don’t think that’s it. I think he’s starting to realize he was wrong too. Realize that Sebastian might have had feelings for you all along,” Iris said quietly.
I still couldn’t forget Roman’s warning to me the day Derek died in the hospital, when Aurora arrived. He was probably worried I’d get in the way, preventing his precious sister from getting her happy ending.
“The only feeling Sebastian has for me is hatred. Nothing anyone says will convince me otherwise. What you’re saying is crazy. You can’t hate someone for seven years and then suddenly develop positive feelings for them. It’s impossible.”
“It’s possible if those feelings have been developing inside him for a long time, but he didn’t know or wouldn’t admit it,” Sophia interjected.
I shook my head in refusal. I was starting to get annoyed with them.
“No, Iris, no more analyzing. I don’t want to hear anything about Sebastian, okay? Even if there was the tiniest possibility that he miraculously developed feelings for me, don’t you

think it’s too late now?”
Iris didn’t answer, and Sophia looked down at the table. The atmosphere suddenly became heavy, and I just wanted to go home and forget all these speculations about Sebastian. Why couldn’t they just drop the subject? Why insist on forcing nonexistent feelings on us? They didn’t understand Sebastian, and they certainly didn’t understand the bitter history between us.
I shook my head to clear my thoughts. I wouldn’t dwell on what they said. My focus now was on my children, the foundation, and this ridiculous new business we were about to start.
