The Inescapable Celibate Heir
Chapter 35 Registration–1
A few days later, club registration kicked off.
At Nexus College, clubs were all about tradition. Even though online registration was possible, they insisted on handwritten forms, claiming it showed more sincerity.
Eric quietly told Victoria she could skip the form, and he’d just add her name to the list, but Victoria wasn’t having it.
She grabbed a club application form and filled it out carefully. She’d never joined a club in her past life, so she figured it would be a fun new experience.
Mira glanced at the form on Victoria’s desk and exclaimed, “Victoria, you’re joining the Snooker club too! I really hope we both get
Victoria signed her name and looked at her calmly, “Yep.”
Mira didn’t take it personally. She knew Victoria well enough by now Victoria just wasn’t very expressive, but she was a good person who had even treated her to a big meal.
Plus, she spoke in the same indifferent tone to the Charming Four of the Computer Science Department, so it wasn’t like she was looking down on anyone.
„Mira held her completed form and sighed, “The Snooker club is the top club at Nexus College, and the competition is fierce. I see at
least a dozen people from our class applying, and there must be hundreds from the whole school. The chances of getting in are low; I’m really afraid I won’t make it.”
Victoria said, “Well see.”
Mira nodded, “Yeah, I just like e it; it’s not like I have to get
After submitting the form, some classmates gossiped behind their backs, “Look, Victoria is also applying for the Snooker club!”
“Half the people are applying for the Snooker club; that’s not surprising.”
“Victoria is different. Haven’t you heard? She got kicked out by her family and even has trouble paying tuition. How does she have the leisure to play such a noble sport?”
Shes got such ambitions, but she was born poor. Is she trying to get in to seduce some high–status men?”
“She should look in the mirror and see her shabby self!”
“Ella also applied for the Snooker club. Is Victoria trying to compete with the true heiress?”
That kind of woman loves to take what doesn’t belong to her. She used to steal Ella’s true heiress status, and now she wants to join the same club in college. Its shameless!”
Ella was very nervous when she heard this. She thought Victoria, without financial support, wouldn’t join any clubs.

Shirley looked a bit troubled and shook the other club application fans in her hand, “I still have forms for over a dozen other clubs to submit. You see….
“It’s fine, you can go. We don’t need too many people in the Snooker club.”
Three days later, the e club registration was about to close.
Messages began flooding the WhatsApp group chat.
Ethan: Eric Did she register?

Victoria took it and bent over to fill it out on a bench.
Ethan watched her quietly. Victoria’s long, fluttering eyelashes, her sparkling eyes, and the fine, transparent fuzz on her smooth cheeks were as tempting as a ripe peach, making him want to take a bite.
He stared unblinkingly, his Adam’s apple moving involuntarity.

Ethan suddenly grabbed Victoria’s wrist and leaned close to her ear, owering his voice, “We’re all friends.”
Victoria’s earlobe felt a bit hot, and she struggled to pull her hand away. He let go.
She said angrily. “Why do you have to get so close to talk?”
Ethan took the form from her hand, “I’ll take it. It won’t get lost this time.”
Victoria pursed her lips. It wasn’t lost before, but never mind. If she hadn’t known them, Ella’s little trick would have she would have failed to join the club.
She looked up and met Ethan’s eyes, her expression sincere, “Thanks.

To achieve absolute victory, to crush Ella, and to take control of her own life, she couldn’t rely on herself alone. She needed harmonious and powerful family as a background and sincere friends as support. Only then would her victory be complete.
“It’s what I should do. Ethan felt that Victoria’s gaze seemed to be thanking him for more than just this small favor. She seemed to have many emotions hidden beneath her calm exterior.
And he wanted to explore them.
