The man who assaulted me was her uncle.
She tricked me into going to the hill and let her uncle assault me. She then put on an act before Jack arrived, making Jack think that I was the culprit who had hurt Sandra.
She initially thought that Jack would despise me for the assault; she did not expect Albert to interfere by sending her abroad. When she returned to the country, she met with Jack and spiked his wine. She thought that once she was pregnant with Jack’s child, she would be able to force Jack to divorce me.
She never thought that Jack would insist on returning home, which led to my pregnancy instead.
Sandra did not have any menstrual complications. She had faked all that. She was worried that Jack would not divorce me after the child was born, so she came up with a way to use Jack’s guilt.
She bet on Jack to take my placenta for her. Her bet paid off, killing me and my child in the process. Oh, by the way, the doctor was her cousin.
When I heard Albert recounting everything, I pounced on Sandra right away.
Perhaps my resentment was too overwhelming. Sandra’s legs turned to jelly, and she slumped onto the ground. The hair on the back of her neck stood up.
Jack looked at Sandra in disbelief. His lips were pale, and he was trembling furiously. “Impossible! This is impossible!”
Albert’s men pressed the two men down in front of Jack.
“Let us go! We were only acting on Sandra’s orders!”
