“You should die for what you’ve done!”
He took out a dagger and walked toward me with wide eyes.
“Open the door! Brian!”
Just when I was thinking about how to get out of this situation, there was a knock on the door.
It was Camden!
I really wanted to run over and open the door, but I did not dare to do it.
Brian was too close to the door. I was afraid that before I could open the door, I would get stabbed.
“Brian! I know you’re in there! If you don’t open the door, I’ll call the police!”
Brian had always respected Camden, but when he heard Camden’s words, his eyes became murderous.
He looked at me and took a deep breath.
“When did you start your affair with Camden? Hmm? Was it because I don’t love you and touch you anymore? That’s why you
became shameless and got into my cousin’s bed? Lindsay, you cheater!”
“Brian, don’t assume everyone is like you! I don’t have any inappropriate relationship with Camden! I barely even interact with
him usually! Stop defaming me!”
“Camden, Camden, Camden! You sound so loving when you mention his name, and you’re telling me there’s nothing between
you two? Then why was he there when you sent my dad to the hospital? He was siding with you on that day! Besides, see how
anxious he is right now? There’s nothing between the two of you? I don’t believe that!”
After he said that, he strode toward me.
Just when he was about to stab me, I took out the pepper spray and aimed it at his face.
He covered his face and howled in pain, so I rushed past him and opened the door.
Camden seemed to be calling the police. He reached out and took hold of me when he saw me.
There was a strong smell of alcohol coming off him.
“Brian wants to kill me! He’s gone insane!”
“Don’t worry, I’ve called the police. They should be arriving soon!”
I felt slightly relieved. Then I saw Brian walking over to us while holding a dagger with red eyes.
Camden did not notice it!
