When he arrived, Wales didn’t notice my presence immediately. The staff told him that I was still in the midst of getting ready for
my first look for the wedding.
Although Wales was the type of man who could sign a contract that was worth millions of dollars without flinching, at that moment, as he imagined how I would look in my wedding dress, he was more akin to a child in a candy store. His excitement was
mixed with traces of nervousness.
The wedding officially started at 12:00 pm. As the groom, Wales cradled a bouquet in his arms and stood in the middle of the stage while he waited for his bride to make her appearance. He had invited many big shots to attend the wedding, and they, too, waited expectantly for my arrival.

Wales had also invited many journalists to report on the wedding. There was even a live stream set up. After all, the famous Wales
Price was getting married in what would be the wedding of the century. Over 10,000 viewers had tuned in to the live stream to
watch the wedding.
The wedding march blared from the speakers. Everyone turned to look at the entrance. Five minutes passed, and the song came to
an end, but the doors remained closed. The guests began to whisper among themselves while comments flew across the screen on
the live stream.
“Is his crippled wife too embarrassed to come out?”
“This shows that it’s important to pick your partner carefully when getting married. She’s just an ordinary woman, and yet, she’s
late for such a momentous occasion.”
“Did something happen?”
Everyone waited for the rest of the event to unfold with a twinge of excitement in their hearts. Only Wales was gripped with true panic. The anxiety he had suppressed before began to build rapidly.
He whipped his head around to try to catch a glimpse of me. He even wanted to run down the altar to search for me personally.
At that moment, the host walked onto the altar with a microphone in hand. “To the esteemed guests and groom of the day, my apologies for the long wait. I’m here to kick off the surprise the bride has prepared for the groom. If everyone could please turn their attention to the big screen.”
Wales‘ anxious heart calmed when he heard the host’s words. He gave a rueful smile to the guests as he shook his head helplessly, looking very much like a man who was hopelessly in love with his wife.
However, his smile was wiped from his face in the next second.
The screen was still dark, but the obscene sounds of moaning began to echo around the room. The guests exchanged bewildered looks with each other while parents quickly covered the ears of the children who were present.
Everyone assumed that the host had played the wrong recording, but Wales knew better. He could tell that the people moaning in the recording were none other than him and Anna.
