funeral this morning!”
Leo didn’t believe her. Pulling her along, he walked out. He drove her to my grave.
It wasn’t until he saw my photo on the tomb that he understood Rosalie was telling the truth. Dropping to his knees before my grave, he started bawling his eyes out like a child.
I felt a pang in my heart. My family didn’t cry over my death, but Leo, whom I’d given up, mourned my death.
He sat before my grave for a long time. Unable to withstand the silence in the graveyard, Rosalie had left a long time ago.
Miraculously, I wasn’t bound to her this time. Instead, I stayed beside Leo.
After crying, Leo came to accept reality. He hurried away and bought a bouquet of fresh flowers and some candles. Then, he returned to my grave
I stared at my empty grave. It then dawned on me that my family never brought me anything. It turned out they didn’t think I was worth them paying their tributes.
Since then, I had been somehow bound to Leo. He would visit my grave every week and talk to me as he sat before my grave. He thought I could never hear him. Little did he know I was right beside him the whole time.
A week later, Rosalie and Ethan got married as planned.
Leo received a call. Soon, a couple came to him with a box. When I saw the familiar packaging, my heart jolted.

As Leo opened the box, I was all the more sure that the box was the one I delivered to my only friend, Yana Lisbon.
She was the only one I’d told about my illness and how little time I had left to live. Back then, she wanted to visit me, but I
declined. It would trouble her to come as she was studying abroad.
When I visited the places I wished to see, I sent her a postcard upon reaching every destination.
At my final stop, I not only sent her a postcard but also a memory card containing the photos I took on my journey. I gave it to her
as a remembrance. I never expected her to get someone to pass it all to Leo.
Leo stayed at home the entire day with the box. He gazed at the postcards and photos repeatedly before carefully keeping them
away.
