The food on the tray cooled, its aroma fading.
After half an hour, I presented both the original and my translation to Marcblo.
“I’m done translating it.”
Marcelo can with a grunt, motioning for me to set it aside.
He seemed uninterested in reading it, immediately.
I stared at him for a moment and then asked, tentatively.“You’re investigating Venus Bar?Why?Are you interested in owning it?”

Grace’s gaze dropped as she thought about how Renee had always been effortlessly outshining Catherine.
She should have just let her die when she was a baby.
That way, Catherine wouldn’t have had any competition right now.
