Everything felt like a dream.

She sashayed over to him, her movements deliberately seductive. “You look terrible… Are you still worried about Gemma? You
said it yourself, didn’t you? Gemma is 18 now. She’s an adult and not a child anymore.
“So, don’t worry. Maybe she’s just upset and went on a trip with her friends to blow off some steam.”
As she spoke, Evangeline wrapped her arms around Murphy’s neck.
With Gemma out of the picture, Evangeline saw this as her golden opportunity to secure her position as the lady of the Townsend
family. The final step was to take things to the next level with Murphy.
She planned to use Gemma’s absence to her advantage, fully seducing Murphy and making him addicted to her, turning him into
her devoted admirer.
With this in mind, Evangeline leaned closer, her body soft and tender as she whispered soothing words to Murphy, “Murphy,
you’re too tense. Let me help you relax…”
