I was not sure if Jeffrey was telling the truth or lying, but it did not matter anymore.
I coolly broke free from his grip and said calmly, “Jeffrey, you’re dreaming, I can’t stand you enough as it is. A chance? You think you’re worthy? Go be together with Sophie from now on. If you dare come near me again, watch out.”
He would not let go and kept trying to hold on when suddenly, a tall shadow stepped in front of me.
“She has expressed herself loud and clear. Touch her again, I dare you.”
I did not know when Daniel showed up or how much he had heard, but his expression was calm. Even so, I could tell he was
happy,
He had a good reason to be. He finally became the heir to the Graham family. He could let out all the anger and unhappiness he had been holding in for years.
Daniel knew how to fight. In just a few moves, Jeffrey was on the ground, coughing hard. It was like the world had flipped upside
down from ten years ago. Back then, Jeffrey was the one picking on Daniel. Now, Daniel stood tall and looked down at Jeffrey like
he was nothing more than a bug.
“She said she doesn’t like you. Are you deaf or what?”
Jeffrey glared at him with eyes full of hate. “You think she likes you? Daniel, Ella’s just using you to get at me. You really think
you’re something?
“You don’t know yet, huh? She’s pregnant with my baby. She’s three months along. Just wait a few more months and I’ll invite
you to our party.”
Daniel let out a chilling laugh and waved his hand. With that, a group of bodyguards closed in.
