For the first time in his life, Grayson–who had always been composed in the business world–felt his palms dampen with sweat.
He could already picture the wedding dress he had seen a few days ago in the boutique. In his mind, Violet would be the most
beautiful bride in the world.
The music ended. But the entrance doors remained closed.
The murmurs among the guests grew louder. The comment section filled with confusion.
“Why isn’t the bride coming out?”

A knot tightened in Grayson’s stomach. Just as he reached for his phone to send a message, the emcee stepped onto the stage,

“Now, everyone, please turn your attention to the big screen!”
